We are developing an augmented reality application using objects from around the Texas State University campus! Using an Occipital Structure Sensor attached to an iPad, students have scanned in the items (info kiosks, news stands, statues) to be imported into Unity, and we will then use Vuforia plugins to detect the 3D structures within an app.

To test our scans, we have been 3D printing them with an Ultimaker 2+ (yes, we have printed some of our own students!).

We also work with 360 video cameras and test our projects using Google Cardboard, Oculus Go, Oculus Quest and an HTC Vive.
